We welcome all discussions about polymer clay sculpting.

It’s been a busy year and I have not had much time to sculpt as much as I have wanted to! But I have good reason!  Last year, Paul and I purchased our first house and moved into it in June.  In September, we got married, and in May of this year, discovered we were carrying our first child!  All of this has kept us quite busy to say the least!
But on the topic of sculpting, I did get hired to work on a commission piece for a wedding cake top.  It has been a lot of work so far, but is coming along beautifully!  By the end of this month, the “bride and groom” should be complete and I will resume my work on my latest pin-up sculpture based on a famous Elvgren painting.  I’m very excited about this next piece and look forward to working on her again!

I admit it!  I have been too busy to update my blog. <sigh>

But here I am, taking a day off from work and awaiting the latest New England snow fall.  This means I have free time on my hands…What a perfect day to sculpt!!

Evelyn (my latest sculpture) has been sitting on my desk waiting for me to put the final touches on her.  I think she’s getting angry because her black teddy is incomplete and she has no hair or make up!  Can’t say I blame her! LOL

So my plan for today is to focus my attention on her and hopefully take some new photos to share with the internet world!
